71 Traders at Lagoa Market Take COVID-19 Swab Tests

It is done to create a sense of safety and comfortable for traders and shoppers

Some 71 traders of Lagoa Kanal Market, Kebon Bawang Urban Village, North Jakarta, took COVID-19 rapid and swab tests held by the Tanjung Priok Sub-district Puskesmas, on Wednesday (7/15).

"It is done to create a sense of safety and comfortable for traders and shoppers," said Kebon Bawang Urban Village Head, Willy Herdiana.

She acknowledged, besides 71 traders, as many as 14 citizens of RW 15, Kebon Bawang Urban Village also participated in the test.

"We want to prove that the Kebon Bawang environment is safe from coronavirus thus it helps accelerate preventative measures," he asserted.

Tanjung Priok Sub-district Puskesmas Head Ahrahayati Wildan explained as many as 14 personnel were involved during the test. They consisted of two doctors, eleven paramedics and one admin. In addition, test results could be known within three until seven days.

"Besides that, we also urge them to fill out an epidemiological inquiry form," he stated.
